A two-time Pushcart Prize winner, Taddeo is currently at work on her debut novel, a collection of short stories and adaptation of \u201cThree Women\u201d for Showtime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Novelist Dennis Lehane, of \u201cMystic River\u201d and \u201cShutter Island\u201d fame, will speak on March 10. Lehane\u2019s latest novel is 2017\u2019s \u201cSince We Fell\u201d and he is currently writing and producing the upcoming series \u201cThe Outsider\u201d for HBO, where he previously wrote for \u201cThe Wire\u201d and \u201cBoardwalk Empire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Journalist Beth Macy, author of the 2018 opioid crisis exploration \u201cDopesick,\u201d will speak on March 31. The book was short-listed for the Carnegie Medal, as was her previous narrative nonfiction book \u201cTruevine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">And poets Jericho Brown and Ada Lim\u00f3n will share the stage on Jan. 28. Brown, a former faculty member for the Summer Words literary conference, was recently named a finalist for the 2019 National Book Award for his collection \u201cThe Tradition.\u201d Lim\u00f3n was also a finalist for the prize, for 2015\u2019s \u201cBright Dead Things\u201d and won the National Book Critics Circle Award for 2018\u2019s \u201cThe Carrying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cBetween an exploration of desire, an expos\u00e9 on pharmaceutical drug culture, an evaluation of equine heroism, boundary-pushing poetry and psychological-thrillers turned-Hollywood-hits, this season promises to provide readers with inspiration and a new understanding of our cultural moment,\u201d said Aspen Words executive director Adrienne Brodeur, who herself recently <a id=\"N0x2743050N0x2704fc0:N0x2743050N0x28134b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aspentimes.com\/news\/wild-game-a-mother-daughter-memoir-by-aspen-words-adrienne-brodeur-to-be-published-this-week\/\">published the memoir \u201cWild Game\u201d<\/a> and will give a reading at the Wheeler Opera House on Dec. 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">All of the Winter Words author talks will be held at Paepcke Auditorium and will begin at 6 p.m. Each will be followed by a book-signing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Tickets will go on sale Thursday at <a id=\"N0x2743050N0x2705020:N0x2743050N0x2813660\" href=\"https:\/\/aspenshowtix.com\/Online\/default.asp\">aspenshowtix.com<\/a> and the Wheeler Opera House box office.
