The initiative resulted from local creative leaders pushing against the dearth of women playwrights being produced today \u2013 only 22 percent of American theater productions over the past three years have been written by women.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The May production sold out three nights at Thunder River Theatre in Carbondale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cThe connections and layers have been deeply moving and inspiring,\u201d how said before that show. \u201cThe support has been uncanny for exploring our voices, and really bringing it forth. And, yet, there is such a wide perspective of female voices here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Tickets are $25 for adults; $10 for children, available at the Wheeler Opera House box office and <a id=\"N0x22c6230N0x2200610:N0x22c6230N0x22fa000\" href=\"https:\/\/aspenshowtix.com\/Online\/default.asp\">aspenshowtix.com<\/a>.
