Voters within the Aspen Valley Hospital District appeared to have continued their support Tuesday for a revenue steam that brings about $4.6 million annually to the medical facility\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n

According to the first wave of election results for Tuesday, 2,208 votes, or 77.9%, had been cast in favor of ballot issue 6A, which would extend the mill levy for another decade.<\/p>\n

For property owners, the extension of the 1.5 mill levy means they\u2019ll pay $11.93 annually on a property with an assessed value of $100,000 and so on.<\/p>\n

The mill levy has been in place since 1995 and has been renewed by voters every five years. The current levy was set to expire in 2020.<\/p>\n
