More than 1,500 people applied for 12 dream jobs entailing skiing or riding at resorts this winter and documenting their experiences for ski trip provider Ski.com.<\/p>\n

The winners were announced this week and will be whisked off in January to Aspen; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Big Sky, Montana; Banff and Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada; Chamonix, France; and Niseko, Japan.<\/p>\n

Aspen-based Ski.com held its dream job competition for a second straight year<\/a>, though it changed the format. Last year is selected one person to visit 12 resorts<\/a> over the course of the winter. This year, it selected six duos that will stay at their assigned resort all winter.<\/p>\n

The applicants submitted videos explaining in 90 seconds or less what made them the perfect candidates for Ski.com\u2019s dream job. They had to identify which resort they were applying to cover.<\/p>\n

Earning the ticket to Aspen and Snowmass were Andrew Muse, Ashley LaMarre and their dog Kicker from Park City, Utah.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndrew Muse has a huge following on his YouTube page, documenting his travels around the world often with fellow content creator and girlfriend Ashley and his Internet famous dog named Kicker,\u201d Ski.com said in its announcement.<\/p>\n

Muse and LaMarre originally applied to travel to Chamonix but Ski.com hired them for Aspen. Their application video can be viewed at https:\/\/vimeo.com\/369056018<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The others selected for the dream jobs were:<\/p>\n

* Jack Botti and Max Rhule from Bend, Oregon, will be going to Chamonix.<\/p>\n

* Alex Broadstock and Kris Roller from Brooklyn, New York, were selected to go to Niseko.<\/p>\n

* Aaron Macrae and Matt Chick from Montreal, Canada, are headed to Jackson Hole.<\/p>\n

* Jake Burchmore and Taylor Ahearn of Crested Butte, won rights to go to Banff and Lake Louise. They initially applied to go to Japan.<\/p>\n

* Celia Miller from Frisco and Ben Saheb of Steamboat Springs, will be going to Big Sky Resort.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the second year of The Ski.com Dream Job, we are blown away by the significant amount of submissions we received from people with a deep passion for skiing and snowboarding, mountains and travel,\u201d Dan Sherman, Ski.com\u2019s chief marketing officer, said in a statement.<\/p>\n

The teams will take an all-expense paid VIP tour that includes flying on United Airlines and gear from Stio, Black Crows, Giro and GoPro. Each individual received $2,000.<\/p>\n

They will be shooting video, taking still photography and writing about their experiences over the winter. Their updates will be posted on Ski.com\u2019s Instagram and Facebook pages as well as at http:\/\/www.ski.com\/dreamjob<\/a>.<\/p>\n
