And, mostly of being pitted against one another in a cultural civil war seemingly fostered by self-serving special interests successfully appealing to our baser instincts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">According to a Pew Research Center Study (<a id=\"N0x1c97860N0x1d71240:N0x1c97860N0x1e91dd0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.people-press.org\/2019\/10\/10\/partisan-antipathy-more-intense-more-personal\/\">\u201cPartisan Antipathy: More Intense, More Personal,\u201d<\/a>) Oct. 10, 2019, we are the most divided in a generation and continuing to get worse. So, in the \u201cspirit of the season,\u201d I am appealing to \u201cthe better angels of our nature\u201d to be willing to stop and reset by sincerely asking ourselves, in the privacy of our own conscience, if any of the beliefs that we have about one another are true?<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Can you absolutely know that it is true? What is your evidence? Can the opposite be just as true?
