Sally Baker Williams is also in the photo.<\/strong><br \/><em><\/em><\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"Special Sections-ATW-ATW_Body_Serif\">\u201cClaire Hennig crowned Queen of Wintersk\u00f6l,\u201d announced The Aspen Times on Jan. 29, 1953. \u201cMiss Claire Hennig of Wasau, Wisconsin, was crowned Queen of the 1953 Aspen Wintersk\u00f6l by Lana Turner and Lex Barker at coronation ceremonies at the Wintersk\u00f6l Ball Saturday evening at the Armory. Miss Hennig was sponsored by the Wasau Ski Club and is a member of the Wasau Ski Patrol. Attendants for the Queen are the Misses Kathleen Cooner of Boise, Idaho; Karlen Lee Reich of Denver, formerly of Glenwood; Bebe Woods of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Aspen; and Sheila Lyons of North Seattle Washington. The queen candidates were entertained at a cocktail party Friday evening given by the Wintersk\u00f6l committee. They will have a special float in the Wintersk\u00f6l parade this Saturday afternoon.
