All after-school and building activities will also be canceled,\u201d the district announced.<\/p>\n<p>The valley area remains under a winter storm warning until early Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspentimes.com\/news\/potent-winter-storm-prompts-warning-for-aspen-area-up-to-2-feet-of-snow-forecast-through-friday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Up to 30 inches of snow is expected (opens in a new tab)\">Up to 30 inches of snow is expected<\/a> at higher elevations during the warning.
