Huey Lewis & The News premiered their new music video for \u201cHer Love Is Killin\u2019 Me\u201d during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a><\/em>. The star-studded video features an appearance by Kimmel, who says he is living out a long-held dream, as well as numerous other celebrities.<\/p>\n

The video includes cameos from Brandon Flowers, Cedric the Entertainer, Jimmy Buffett, Michael Keaton, Yvette Nicole Brown, Rick Sutcliffe, Bruce Bochy, June Lockhart, Sal Iacono, Andy Garcia, Ray Benson, Chris Berman, Topher Grace, Brad Paisley, Sean Hayes, Joe Montana, Patrick Warburton and Wendie Malick, all of whom recorded videos of themselves lip-syncing along the song.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer Love Is Killin\u2019 Me\u201d comes off Huey Lewis & The News\u2019 new album Weather<\/em>, the band\u2019s first album in 19 years. The album, out today, was recorded at their Troutfarm Studio in Marin County, outside of San Francisco. The sessions however were ultimately cut short when Lewis was diagnosed with M\u00e9ni\u00e8re\u2019s disease<\/a>, an ear condition that also forced the band to cancel<\/a> a slew of tour dates and has kept Huey Lewis and the News<\/a> off the road since.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe label initially wanted to add more songs [from earlier points in my career],\u201d Lewis told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI said to them, \u2018Why poison the water? This is a body of work. Why contaminate it? Who cares about the number of songs? And if it\u2019s just seven songs because I can\u2019t sing anymore, that\u2019s a better story! And Kanye\u2019s record just has seven songs. Case closed!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em> Lewis also spoke with Kimmel about his hearing loss and the new album. \u201cI might sing again,\u201d he noted. \u201cBut I don\u2019t know that yet. I haven\u2019t been able to stabilize long enough. But that\u2019s the object.\u201d<\/p>\n
