The project is expected to be completed in October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The construction project includes new pavement, resurfacing with polyester concrete overlay, replacement of bridge joints and bearings, and new pavement markings on both eastbound and westbound lanes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Lane closures will expand, shutting down the entire westbound direction and shifting traffic in a head-to-head configuration on the eastbound lanes starting later in March.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The resurfacing is the most important part of the project, according to a CDOT news release, because it is expected to reduce the need for future repairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cDuring the early outreach last fall, we saw good participation.
