The new model uses a 24-karat gold leaf laid over carbon fiber.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Special Sections-ATW-ATW_Body_Serif\">Why? Because bike aficionados sometimes treat bike parts like art.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Special Sections-ATW-ATW_Body_Serif\">\u201cThe bicycle wheel represents a unique visual canvas \u2014 kinetic art in its most pure form,\u201d Spengle CEO Pius Brauchart said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Special Sections-ATW-ATW_Body_Serif\">The company noted each build is made to order and takes three months to complete.
