Fauci discussed the new virus with public health experts and gave a sense of what was to come in the absence of an aggressive global response.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs there a risk that this is going to turn into a global pandemic?\u201d he said in the March 3 episode. \u201cAbsolutely, yes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Institute\u2019s online resources \u2014 including its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspenideas.org\/podcasts\">podcast<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.org\/blog-posts\/\">blog<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspeninstitute.org\/videos\/\">archived videos<\/a> from years of conferences in Aspen \u2014 are a trove of material for the home-bound as the pandemic now keeps us all inside.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute also has been regularly sharing recommended video and audio sessions to dig into during stay-at-home orders through the Ideas Fest Facebook page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/aspenideas\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Ideas blog last week included the post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspenideas.org\/articles\/four-mental-health-tips-for-the-socially-distanced\">\u201cFour Mental Health Tips for the Socially Distanced.\u201d<\/a> Its suggestions: meditating; practicing joyfulness; exercising; and embracing boredom.<\/p>\n<p>The archives of Institute conference sessions are deep and diverse.
