Courtesy photo<\/strong><br \/><em><\/em><\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Carbondale-based 5Point Film announced Thursday a free three-day virtual festival, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/5pointfilm.org\/events\/unlocked\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">5Point Unlocked<\/a><i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\"><\/i>,\u201d with screenings April 22, 24, and 26.<\/p>\n<p>The program will include guests and signature 5Point elements aimed to bring some of the festivals atmosphere into online audience\u2019s homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>5Point\u2019s signature festival, which had been scheduled to run next week, has been postponed to Oct. 14-18 due to the public health crisis.<\/p>\n<p>These three 90-minute programs of films will showcase curated favorites from the festival archives, with special guest vignettes showing \u201cLife in Lockdown.\u201d Program hosts include 5Point vets Chris Davenport, Wade Newsom, and Juanma Cespedes, along with special guest programmer Julie Kennedy, the founder of 5Point, at the creative helm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col\">\n<div class=\"row at-donation at-donation-mobile p-0\">\n<div class=\"col-xl-4 p-2\">\n<div data-bg=\"url(https:\/\/cdn.aspentimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/03\/AT-logo-white.png)\" class=\"p-0 mt-2 mb-2 h-75 text-center rocket-lazyload\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.aspentimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/03\/AT-logo-white.png\" class=\"logo m-0 p-0 invisible\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-bg=\"url(https:\/\/cdn.aspentimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/03\/at-banner-paypal.jpg)\" class=\"col-xl-8 p-3 text-center rocket-lazyload\">\n<h3 class=\"d-inline mr-3\">Support Local Journalism<\/h3>\n<p><button class=\"btn d-inline\" type=\"button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspentimes.com\/donate\/?utm_source=article&amp;utm_medium=website&amp;utm_campaign=donation&amp;utm_term=&amp;utm_content=mid-article\">Donate<\/a><\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>5Point aims to bring people together around great adventure storytelling through film and inspiring individuals and communities to live by the nonproft\u2019s titular five points: Purpose, Respect, Commitment, Humility, and Balance.<\/p>\n<p>Programs will air 7 p.m. April 22 and 24, and at 3 p.m. for the family-friendly April 26 films.<\/p>\n<p>The programs are being offered to the 5Point community free of charge. Registrants are suggested to donate $10 to support 5Point and the 5Point Film Fund.
