{"id":2458917,"date":"2020-05-27T22:32:00","date_gmt":"2020-05-28T04:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aspentimes.com\/news\/shooters-grill-has-its-license-reinstated\/"},"modified":"2020-05-27T22:32:00","modified_gmt":"2020-05-28T04:32:00","slug":"shooters-grill-has-its-license-reinstated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kspn\/local-news\/shooters-grill-has-its-license-reinstated\/","title":{"rendered":"Shooters Grill has its license reinstated"},"content":{"rendered":"<div readability=\"41.327002967359\">\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Shooters Grill in Rifle will be allowed to reopen under the same requirements other Garfield County restaurants were granted in a state-approved variance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cThe owner of Shooters Grill (Lauren Boebert) agreed to follow all current and future executive and public health orders that apply to restaurants in Garfield County, and she will take the actions set forth in the license reinstatement that she signed,\u201d according to a statement issued by the county Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cUpon meeting these terms, her license is now reinstated, and Shooters Grill is authorized to reopen to the level and with the same social distancing requirements that apply to all other restaurants in Garfield County.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Shooters had its restaurant license suspended May 15 by the county health department after Boebert repeatedly continued to defy public health orders by serving customers on site and outdoors in a permitted seating area.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col\" readability=\"6\">\n<div class=\"row at-donation at-donation-mobile p-0\" readability=\"7\">\n<div class=\"col-xl-4 p-2\">\n<div data-bg=\"url(https:\/\/cdn.aspentimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/03\/AT-logo-white.png)\" class=\"p-0 mt-2 mb-2 h-75 text-center rocket-lazyload\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.aspentimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/03\/AT-logo-white.png\" class=\"logo m-0 p-0 invisible\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><h3 class=\"d-inline mr-3\">Support Local Journalism<\/h3>\n<p><button class=\"btn d-inline\" type=\"button\" onclick=\"handleDonationButtonClickMidArticle()\">Donate<\/button><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">That came after she had been issued a cease-and-desist order May 12 and a temporary restraining order by the District Court on May 13.
