The ramp is closed to all boat traffic when inspectors are not on-site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The boat ramp hours will be 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout June; 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. from July 1 through Sept. 7; and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Sept. 8 through Oct. 31, according to a notice from the Ruedi Water and Power Authority.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cAll boats entering and leaving the reservoir must be inspected prior to launch and prior to departure in compliance with state regulations,\u201d the notice said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col\" readability=\"6\">\n<div class=\"row at-donation at-donation-mobile p-0\" readability=\"7\">\n<div class=\"col-xl-4 p-2\">\n<div data-bg=\"url(https:\/\/cdn.aspentimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/03\/AT-logo-white.png)\" class=\"p-0 mt-2 mb-2 h-75 text-center rocket-lazyload\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.aspentimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/03\/AT-logo-white.png\" class=\"logo m-0 p-0 invisible\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><h3 class=\"d-inline mr-3\">Support Local Journalism<\/h3>\n<p><button class=\"btn d-inline\" type=\"button\" onclick=\"handleDonationButtonClickMidArticle()\">Donate<\/button><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">There is a growing threat of mussel invasion from contaminated sources such as Lake Powell. Inspectors will search for zebra and quagga mussels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cSix mussel-infested boats were identified and decontaminated through the Ruedi Boat Inspection Program in 2019, the second most found in Colorado, and the most ever intercepted at Ruedi Reservoir, indicating an increasing threat to Colorado waters,\u201d the water and power authority said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The testing program is sponsored by the Ruedi Water and Power Authority in coordination with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
