The 2019 Grammys took place at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Sunday, and there were plenty of memorable moments both on and off the stage.
Camila Cabello, Ricky Martin and J Balvin kicked off the night with a stellar performance of “Havana,” and host Alicia Keys surprised everyone when she walked onto the stage with Michelle Obama.
Lady Gaga, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Cardi B and more stars kept the party going with a number of killer performances. Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris and Little Big Town also had a blast performing Dolly Parton‘s best hits. Even BTS couldn’t stop dancing! In addition, Diana Ross brought the audience to their feet with her birthday medley, and Yolanda Adams, Fantasia Barrino and Andra Day honored Aretha Franklin with a touching tribute.
Of course, there were also the awards. Musgraves was one of the big winners of the night and took home four trophies, including Album of the Year for Golden Hour. Childish Gambino also won four awards, including Record and Song of the Year. Although, he was notably missing from Music’s Biggest Night.
While fans caught most of the action on their screens, there were still a few offstage moments they didn’t get to see.
