The Pole Creek Ladies golf league enjoyed the weather Thursday for a match play tournament. The field was divided into two flights, and teams of two played each hole as a separate competition.
The player with the higher handicap was given strokes from their opponent on the most difficult holes, according to their handicap difference.
The winners of their matches were Maggy Helm, Lori Myers, Deb Kohlwey, Janet Conneely, Mary Byerrum, Pat Riddell, Mary Brooks, Beth Daniel, Vanessa Reiter, Suzy Peterson, Betty Williams, Madelyne Stevens, Sandy Williams and Jeanne Nicoulin. Julie Richards and Linda Seale tied.
