A Winter Park realtor has been inducted as chairwoman of the
Colorado Association of Realtors.
Janene Johnson, broker and owner of Real Estate of Winter Park, assumed the role as chairwoman for the organization on Friday, according to a release from the organization.
Johnson will serve as a conduit between the association’s 26,700 members and the Board of Directors the release said. She will assist with strategic planning, helping to set the organization’s direction and vision.
“I’m both honored and excited at the
opportunity to serve this great organization at this point in my career,”
Janene Johnson said in the release.
Johnson has extensive experience with the Colorado Association of Realtors dating back to 2012. She has served on various committees including the Legislative Policy Committee, the Political Action Committee, the Regulatory Policy Committee, the Credentials Committee, the Sunset Review Chair Advisory Group and as district vice president for the Mountain District.
“The Colorado
Association of Realtors is very fortunate and excited that we will be
transitioning in 2020 to another great leader in Janene Johnson,” Tyrone Adams,
CEO of the organization, said in the release. “Speaking on behalf of all the
state association volunteers and CAR staff, we are looking forward to working with
Janene and her leadership council as we navigate through Colorado’s complex
real estate industry.”
