Half a decade has passed since Broken Compass Brewing first opened its doors in Breckenridge. To celebrate, the brewery will have an anniversary party with six musical groups, food trucks, games and more.

On Friday, from 3 p.m. to midnight, Neal Evans’ Fro Down and Eminence Ensemble will perform. The brewery will also tap firkins, small casks of specialty beer.

More specialty beer — such as beermosas and a chili pepper pale ale — will flow from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. Additionally, Photon, alt-country band Gasoline Lollipops, bluegrass band Rapidgrass and DJ Williams’ Shots Fired of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe will take to the stage.

Along with birthday cake, guests can find free donut holes, sausage rolls and food trucks from Pure Kitchen, Crock Spot, Lil’ Chubby’s BBQ, Shuck Brothers’ Oyster Bar and Higgle’s Ice Cream.

Rocky Mountain Underground and Carver’s will be on-site with ski and bike tuning workshops and demos. Artisans selling their crafts will also be present as people enjoy a corn hole tournament and other yard games.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 the day of for Saturday’s event while Friday’s festivities are free. Each purchase includes an anniversary Klean Kanteen tumbler and a free beer. Visit Store.BrokenCompassBrewing.com to purchase.
