The town of Frisco is set to begin a series of community feedback events this week to help shape conceptual designs for improvements to town parks.

Over the next month, the town will hold community events at Pioneer Park, Walter Byron Park, Meadow Creek Park and the Old Town Hall & Community Center. The first event will be at Pioneer Park from 4 to 6 p.m. on May 8.

The events will be open format workshops with presentation boards and activities designed to assist in prioritizing budget funds. Participants should plan on spending about an hour at the workshop. Children are welcome, and refreshments will be served.

Following the Pioneer Park gathering, the town will also be holding similar meetings at the other parks on May 15, 22 and 29. For each event attended, participants will be entered to win a free pontoon boat rental at the Frisco Bay Marina this summer.
