One hundred years in the making, Latigo Guest Ranch in Kremmling has a storied history. In 1923, homesteader, Frederick Kasdorf, Jr., built the Snowshoe Dude Ranch. By 1959, several owners continued the fair weather operation.
In 1982, David Wassertrom created Latigo Ranch, adding a social club, swimming pool, fishing pond, barn and an all-important access road. In 1987, new owners, Randy and Lisa George, expanded to year-round operations with a vibrant Nordic center.
In 2023, this Grand County gem was voted one of the top 50 ranches in the world for all-inclusive Western hospitality by a family-owned and operated guest ranch. The name comes from the latigo, which is the long cowhide leather piece allowing the Western saddle cinch to be tightened.
