Thomas A. Reilly, Jr.

February 20, 1946 – July 01, 2019

Tom Reilly, 73, of Alma Colorado, passed away on July 1, 2019 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. Reilly Sr. and Eileen Moriarity Reilly. He is survived by his sisters Eileen Reilly (Wes Bolin) and Kathy (Don Berube).

Tom grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Longmeadow High School, Longmeadow MA. He continued his education and received his BS degree in Metallurgy from Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO. His early career included time working at the Henderson Mine and rough necking in Wyoming and Oklahoma. Reilly, as many called him, was an avid rockhound and would spend most of the last two decades prospecting in various parts of Alma and throughout the Southwest especially Arizona.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday July 28, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alma Town Hall located at 59 Buckskin Road, Alma CO. Tom’s family asks that you keep fond memories of Tom in your thoughts and prayers. The family welcomes you to bring pictures and stories to share if you are attending the memorial gathering.
