Laura Schultz takes the bacon at Saturday’s Bacon Burner 6K running, jogging, walking event in Frisco. Schultz, 71, won the 70+ women’s jog competition on Saturday with a time of 39:33, and 34th overall in a men’s and women’s jog race that featured 161 joggers. The annual Bacon Burner event, which coincides with the annual Frisco BBQ Challenge, featured more than 400 participants across walking, jogging and running events.
