As part of their fourth annual Swimwear Day spring celebration on Saturday, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area hosted a rail jam within the ski area’s Treeline Terrain Park.

A-Basin will host the second of two May rail jams on Saturday, May 25, in the Treeline Terrain Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event will feature prizes and giveaways, with the official rail jam beginning at 11 a.m.

Prizes include A-Basin lift tickets, A-Basin gift cards and more.

The intermediate/advanced Treeline Terrain Park — which is the highest terrain park in North America and includes rails and bonks created from recycled material from around the ski area — features a 20-foot down rail, a tire-barrel bonk, a mini-stump stall, a snow-cano, a donkey rail, a 20-foot jump, a tube wall, a four-barrel bonk and a down-flat-down rail.

As of Sunday afternoon, A-Basin was reporting a base of 75 inches with packed-powder conditions.
