The Summit County Parade of Homes has typically been an event in which local builders showcase of their newest works, but this year organizers are broadening their reach to accommodate some homeowners who might want to join in.
The 25th annual Parade of Homes will be the weekends of Sept. 21-22 and Sept. 28-29, and organizers are seeking homeowners who want to join the parade and own homes that were finished after September 2017.
Marilyn Hogan, executive officer of the Summit County Builders Association, noted that proceeds from the Parade of Homes will go to the Summit Foundation, and she hopes to have the lineup solidified by June so they can get all of the homes featured in the corresponding Parade of Homes magazine.
Any homeowner who’s interested in participating should contact Hogan by emailing info@summitcountybuilders.org or calling 970-668-6013.
Additionally, there will be an orientation meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday inside the Mount Royal Room at the County Common in Frisco, and interested homeowners may get more information about joining the parade at that time.
