FRISCO — Summit Fire and EMS will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, July 18, for the department’s new administration building.

Summit Fire has been in the process of moving its administrative offices from inside Station 10 in Silverthorne to a new facility at the County Commons in Frisco, and the time has finally come to make the move official. The new building will house administrative operations for the fire department along with Summit County Ambulance Service, which was absorbed into the department earlier this month.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 10 a.m. at 0035 County Shops Road in Frisco. Light refreshments will be served.
