Trial Ridge Road is not expected to open through the holiday
weekend.
According to a release from Rocky Mountain National Park,
over six inches of snow fell in higher elevations in the park Thursday. The daytime
temperatures above 11,000 feet for the next three days will be in the 20s with
strong winds.
The park anticipates that later today the closure points on Trail Ridge Road will move up to Rainbow Curve on the east side and Milner Pass on the west side.
Old Fall River Road has closed for the season to vehicles. It is still open to bicycles, leashed pets and walkers through Nov. 30.
All other roads in the park remain open.
