An Amber Alert was issued at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday for a 17-year-old girl from the Sheridan area.
The girl, Samantha Herrera, is possibly with 19-year-old Rodney Brown in a white 2000 Honda Accord with Colorado plates marked OMB236. They were last seen near Hampden Avenue and Santa Fe Drive around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Herrera is about 5-foot-6 and 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Brown is 5-10 and 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He is “known to be violent and possess weapons,” according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
