The Titans’ co-ed team scored 78.05 points, topping Strasburg with 71.12 points.
Bayfield (68.5) and Alamosa (52.22) placed third and fourth in the state championship spirit competition in Denver
“This was a very strong team this year,” said Alyssa Thurmon, Coal Ridge’s head coach. “We focused a lot of weight lifting and gaining strength to be able to hit the coed stunts we needed. This team is very close and has amazing chemistry and relationships, which makes it even more special. I could not be more proud of them and all of their hard work.”
