YMHS Taste of the Holidays & Gift Bazaar
11 a.m. Saturday — Yampah Mountain High School students present their second Taste of the Holidays & Gift Bazaar, including a bake sale, wishing tree, homemade pork chile verde and Wille Chile, and handmade items. Students have been making ornaments, jewelry, jams and jellies, candies, cookies and gardening-related products. The $5 admission covers the school’s costs in providing tastes, and all proceeds go to creating a fund for food and projects materials to support our Sustainable Science program, cooking, gardening, building, crafts and life skills classes.

TRTC’s ‘Kimberly Akimbo’ continues
2 p.m. Sunday — Thunder River Theatre Co.’s 2018-19 Theatre Season continues with the “satirical, dark, and heart-touching” comedy, “Kimberly Akimbo.” “Kimberly’s rare genetic disorder causes her teenage body to age faster than the zany cast of characters that surround her, including her hypochondriac mother, alcoholic father, ex-con aunt, and her first crush,” according to a description of the play.
