Get married or renew vows at Loveland Ski Area ‘mass wedding’ on Valentine’s Day

The tradition continues as Loveland hosts the 28th annual Mountaintop Matrimony on Valentine’s Day. Couples join in matrimony or renew vows in this unique mass wedding ceremony high atop the Continental Divide.

The Mountaintop Matrimony is for couples getting married or renewing their vows and takes place at noon sharp outside the Ptarmigan Roost Cabin, elevation 12,050 feet. Couples are required to sing in the morning of the event and are asked to be at the cabin by 11:30 a.m.

Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up and to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.

The ceremony is a “mass wedding” done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Couples that pre-register will be eligible for the 2-for-1 lift tickets the day of the event and also be eligible to purchase lunch vouchers for $13, a $15 value. Wedding cake, raffle tickets and beer coupons will be provided complimentary for preregistered couples. Preregistration ends Feb. 12.
