Interstate 70 and U.S. 6 are both closed in each direction between West Rifle and Rulison as of 11:20 a.m. Tuesday due to a “law enforcement situation,” according to a Garfield 9-1-1 alert.
The closure is between MM 81 (Rulison) to MM 87 (West Rifle). I70 WB closed MM 87, according to the alert. Highway 6 is closed both directions in West Rifle.
