Almost a year after several cars were pelted with rocks along Interstate 25, police say the two men responsible turned themselves in.
In January 2018, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado State Patrol received reports of rocks damaging cars as they passed under the bridge at County Road 36, or Kechter Road, on I-25 during the night. No injuries were reported, but seven victims reported broken windshields and body damage to their cars.
In a lengthy joint investigation of more than eight reports between January and July, the two agencies identified Joshua Frederick Boddy and Kraig Warren Lorenzen as suspects and issued criminal mischief warrants for their arrest, a Class 6 felony.
Boddy, 31, and Lorenzen, 32, both of Loveland, turned themselves in to the Loveland Police Department on Dec. 20, according to the release, and were released the same day on $5,000 bail each.
