Powabunga—the inaugural music, mountain and art festival in Vail, Colorado taking place on March 22 and 23—has announces its lineup, featuring performances from viral powerhouse ZHU, Grammy-winning duo Bob Moses, Boombox, Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage, De Lux, ISHI and more.
An immersive experience spanning the festival stage, the slopes of world-class Vail Mountain, and parts in between, Powabunga highlights Colorado’s uniquely vibrant mountain culture and the stunning beauty of the Vail Valley. With two nights of music at Ford Park, large-scale pop-up art installations, exclusive apres ski and post show after-parties, Powabunga promises a weekend celebrating the joyful spirit and diverse offerings of the Rocky Mountains.
Powabunga’s concert performances at Ford Park kick off at 4 p.m. each afternoon and continue until 10 p.m. Then, Powabunga hosts intimate after parties—with artists including Justin Jay and Bob Moses—at select local venues, details to be announced soon.
March 23 at noon sees the start of the Costume Ski-Stravaganza at Black Forest Ski Race Course on Vail Mountain. A costume-required ski event, the Ski-Stravaganza invites fans to get creative for some slopeside fun, with winners taking away prizes including skis, snowboards, an Epic Pass and more. Costume categories include best overall, best duo, best denim and best onesie.
