This is getting exciting.
Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge has taken to Instagram to tease us, sharing a snippet of an unreleased song, and likening the music he’s working on to one of his former bands – Box Car Racer.
Box Car Racer had a short lifespan, only existing in tandem with blink-182 for a period of roughly two years – but the prospect of music in the vein of Tom’s former project is definitely exciting.
The short snippet definitely sounds promising – and even inspired former Box Car Racer bandmate Travis Barker to playfully weigh in on a comment, sharing “Never will sound like BOX CAR RACER without me”.
As yet there’s been no official announcement for a new Angels & Airwaves album, however with all these teasers flying around, it’s getting exciting.
