As It Is have reimagined their 2018 album ‘The Great Depression’ in its entirety, and are releasing it as four separate EPs. The EPs are produced by frontman Patty Walters.
The first EP ‘Denial’ is out now, and features reimagined versions of ‘The Great Depression’, ‘The Wounded World’ and ‘The Fire, The Dark’.
Sharing the news on Twitter, As It Is posted “we are so incredibly excited to announce that we have reimagined the entirety of our album the great depression. today, we are releasing ‘denial: reimagined’, the first of 4 EP’s all to be released this year. streaming online now. in typical as it is fashion, this is not just an acoustic album… this is an elaborate and eclectic reinterpretation of our most ambitious and important record to date, produced by Patty Walters. the artwork for each EP will represent a respective quarter of a larger piece of art, complete when all four have been pieced together… we believe that reimagined songs can breathe new life and meaning into the lyrics, opening the door to find further truths within music. we hope that you enjoy this new, exciting, and immersive extension of the great depression.”
