Belle and Sebastian will embark on a short North American tour this summer.
The eight-date trek kicks off July 11th at the Sprint Pavilion in Charlottesville, Virginia and includes stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The tour wraps July 21st at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak Michigan. Ex Hex and Men I Trust will serve as support on select dates.
Tickets for all shows will go on sale to the general public February 15th, while pre-sales are set to begin February 13th. Complete information is available on the Belle and Sebastian website. For every ticket purchased, $1 will be donated to charity (except for the band’s show in Pittsburgh).
Last February, Belle and Sebastian released a trio of EPs that were collected and released as, How to Solve Our Human Problems. The Scottish outfit was recently tapped to score Simon Bird’s forthcoming film, Days of the Bagnold Summer, which is slated to be released in the UK this year. In August, Belle and Sebastian will launch a four-day Mediterranean cruise and music festival dubbed the Boaty Weekender.
