Billie Joe Armstrong & Dave Grohl Perform In ‘Living Room’ Benefit Concert

The show aired on US TV last night (March 29).

Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong and Foo Fighters‘ frontman Dave Grohl were among the big names who took part in a TV benefit concert.

They performed during the ‘iHeartRadio Living Room Concert For America’ which aired on the FOX network in the US this past Sunday (March 29), alongside the likes of Billie Eilish, Backstreet Boys and host Elton John.

Billie performed an acoustic rendition of the classic ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ from the band’s 2004 album ‘American Idiot’:

Dave meanwhile dedicated ‘My Hero’ to frontline medical staff currently tackling the coronavirus outbreak:

Proceeds from the concert will go towards “two of many charitable organizations that are helping victims and first responders during this pandemic — Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation”. Get more information here.
