The tour that dreams are made of.
The members (and former members) of Blink-182 have gone on to have some pretty great side-projects over the years. But what’s the likelihood of ever seeing them all play on the same tour package? Apparently it’s been discussed, and seriously considered.
When asked recently during a press conference if Mark Hoppus had considered taking his new band Simple Creatures out on a tour, opening for Blink-182, the frontman revealed that he’s talked about it.
“We actually talked about it at one point – doing a Blink and side projects tour where we’d be like Transplants, Angels & Airwaves, Blink-182, +44 – and everything that anyone has ever been involved with” Mark shared.
Then co-Simple Creatures frontman Alex Gaskarth chimed in “So you’d do one show, and then your voice is blown for a month after doing four sets?”
To which Mark replied “Take a week off to recover. Yeah – we’ve talked about doing things like that – I think it’d be fun.”
We’d also like to throw Alkaline Trio into that line-up.
So while there’s no actual confirmation that it’s going to happen – it’s at least being considered.
