Chromatics have announced the dates for their 2019 Double Exposure tour, the group’s first run of shows in more than five years. The 24-date North American tour kicks off on April 30th at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California and wraps on June 11th in San Francisco, California at Mezzanine.
The electro-pop group will perform selections from Night Drive, Kill for Love, Cherry and their forthcoming Dear Tommy, which features the previously released single “Blue Girl.” While it’s been a half decade since they’ve toured, Chromatics last appeared together onstage when they performed 2015 song “Shadow” on Twin Peaks in 2017.
Along with unveiling their tour dates, the band has released a video for new song “Time Rider.” Directed by the group, it features pink-and-blue-hued imagery that showcases the passage of time via hourglasses and digital clocks as Ruth Radelet ethereally sings about the past and looking to the future. “Can I take your hand?” she sings. “I want to ride with you into the storm.”
