But maybe don’t hold your breath waiting for it to be released.
iDKHOW frontman Dallon Weekes has revealed in a Twitter Q&A that he’s recorded a song with Twenty One Pilots.
In response to a fan asking if he’s thinking of a collaboration with Twenty One Pilots, Dallon replied “Already have, but I don’t think I’ll ever release it.”

This is obviously exciting news- with two 2018 Rock Sound Awards winners having worked together (you can pick up your commemorative Rock Sound Awards iDKHOW and Twenty One Pilots covers now from AWARDS.ROCKSOUND.TV).
In response to another fan asking whether the song will ever see the light of day, Dallon replied “I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’ll ever put it out. At this point it would feel like taking advantage of how huge their band is.”
He continued “I’d rather not exploit a friend for a song I made a long time ago for fun.”

Somehow the knowledge that there’s a Dallon Weekes x Twenty One Pilots collaboration out there is a comforting thought, even though we’ll never hear it. Lovely stuff.
