Eagles Plot Special ‘Hotel California’ Shows in Las Vegas

The Eagles will perform Hotel California in its entirety live for the first time during their only North American concerts this year, September 27th and 28th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Hotel California performance will be accompanied by a second set featuring some of the band’s biggest hits. The lineup will feature Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, son of late founding member Glenn Frey.

Tickets for the two Vegas shows go on sale April 12th at 10 a.m. PT. Prices will start at $179, not including various Ticketmaster fees. American Express cardholders will have access to pre-sale tickets between Monday April 8th at 10 a.m. PT through April 11th at 10 p.m. PT. Complete information is available on the Eagles’ website.

Released in 1976, Hotel California has become the Eagles’ definitive LP and the third best-selling album of all time in the United States. Along with spawning two Number One hits — “Hotel California” and “New Kid in Town” — and the LP’s title track also earned a Grammy in 1977 for Record of the Year.

The Eagles special Hotel California shows will come on the heels of a European and U.K. tour set to launch this May. The group’s current lineup, with Gill and Deacon Frey, came together in 2017, one year after Glenn Frey’s death from complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.
