Very sad news.
It was announced by Transit yesterday in a short statement on Twitter that their former guitarist Tim Landers had passed away.
Landers was a founding member of Transit, and parted ways with the band in 2014 to pursue other musical endeavours.

Landers’ other band Cold Collective released a short statement on Facebook further confirming the news, sharing “The news has already been circulating, and unfortunately we are here to confirm what is being said. Our vocalist Tim Landers passed away suddenly, February 2, 2019. At this time we please ask for your respect and understanding in this time of grieving. We will comment further when we find the words.”
Tributes have been flowing from across the scene for Tim Landers:
Rest in peace Tim Landers. We never got the chance to meet Tim but his art in the form of Transit and Misser will always have a special place in the hearts of us and many others.

So sorry to hear this. Much love to our friends in @Transitma. We don’t have all the answers on Mental Health and addiction, we do know it’s okay to take a break if you need it. Take care of each other out there. https://t.co/hQiq2aAs8F

Transit broke up in 2016, two years after Landers left the band.
Our thoughts are with Tim Landers’ friends and family during this sad time.
