Green Day are preparing to release their debut book later this year! All three members of the band have collectively co-authored ‘The Last Of The American Girls’, in partnership with illustrator Frank Caruso.
The book is a full-colour picture book feminist manifesto for young rebel girls.
‘Last Of The American Girls’ shares a title with a track off Green Day’s 2009 album ’21st Century Breakdown’, and is described by the publisher as being “an inspiring homage and handbook for the rebellious everywoman who refuses to capitulate.”
Details about the book are a little thin on the ground at the moment, but it’s set for release October 29 and is available for pre-order here.
