What’s going on?

It looks like My Chemical Romance are teasing something.
The official My Chem Twitter has been brought back to life, and it looks something is up. It’s been used sparingly since they announced their breakup in March 2013 – largely sharing news related to the members and their various solo projects.
But this is something different.
It all started with the changing of their profile picture to this:
They’ve also made an official band Instagram account, and posted their first story:
Their first ever Instagram story features what looks like a new logo, with the annotation, ‘ex. 1: Clarity’.
And 10 minutes later? A different logo with text reading: ‘ex. 2: Courage’.
Then at 18:20UK, an open hand labelled ‘ex. 3: Sacrifice’.
We’ve definitely been here before – if you don’t remember, back in 2016 My Chemical Romance literally broke the internet when they shared a teaser trailer for what ended up being a 10th anniversary re-release of their seminal album ‘The Black Parade’. When they shared the below tweet, Twitter went down for the first time ever. EVER.

That’s truly the power of emo.
What are we in store for here? Their last album ‘Danger Days: The Full Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys’ is set to turn 10 years old next year, after all…
Stay tuned.
