“Hey look ma, I made it!”

Congratulations are absolutely in order for Panic! At The Disco who scored their first ever Billboard Music Awards overnight.
Panic! were nominated for four awards last night – Top Rock Artist, Top Rock Album, Top Duo / Group and Top Rock Song with ‘High Hopes’ – and picked up Top Rock Album for ‘Pray For The Wicked’ and Top Rock Song.
In Brendon’s acceptance speech for Top Rock Song, he even referenced his own lyrics with a shout out “look ma, I made it!”.

Brendon also performed twice during the ceremony – giving his track with Taylor Swift its live debut, and performing Panic! At The Disco’s brand new single ‘Hey Look Ma, I Made It’.
So needless to say – Brendon probably had high high hopes this would happen.
