There’s A New Twenty One Pilots Song Coming Very Soon According To Tyler Joseph

“josh, i’m sending you some files”

According to Tyler Joseph, it appears that there’s a new Twenty One PIlots song coming very soon.

In a thread on Twitter, he explained that this song in particular feels like it should “just come out now” and “to give me a few days to finish it up”

He also said that he wanted a portion of whatever money the song makes to go to Crew Nation, a charity fund helping those in the music industry who have lost work due to the current COVID-19 situation.

The tweet look like this:

“always writing, but this one feels like it should just come out now

first song i ever wrote on electric guitar. i think it’s simple but hopeful.

give me a few days to finish it up. a good rule of thumb is to never give yourself a deadline so tweeting about it kind of just added pressure, it’s not done yet.

i also want a portion of whatever money this song makes to go to this charity i saw called crew nation. it provides funding for people who work in the live music industry who don’t have a job right now.

no one knows when live music will get back on its feet. i’ve met so many amazing people working venues and touring with bands. hopefully we can do something to help some through this song.”

An hour later, he simply said “josh, i’m sending you some files”

The news comes in the wake of some huge achievements for the band. Last week their song ‘Chlorine’ was certified Platinum in the US, whilst a few weeks previous their album ‘Blurryface’ surpassed 4 billion streams on Spotify. It remains the most streamed album by a group of all-time.
