From special announcements to acoustic reworks, it was an absolute spectacle.
This past weekend, Fearless Records premiered a very special livestream called ‘Fearless At Home’. It featured all of the label’s roster and had everything from live performances and documentaries to special announcements and some good old fun and games.
We thought the best thing to do would be to show you EVERYTHING that went down, from start to finish.
We’ve timestamped every different band’s appearance within the stream, so scroll through, click play and have a watch!
LOCKET
How has it been a year since Locket first signed to Fearless?!? Time flies. Anyway, vocalist Brad Garcia kicked things off with a redux version of their track ‘Out Of Sight’, the first one released by the band under the Locket name and first to be released through Fearless.
MY KID BROTHER
If you were running out of ideas of what to cook whilst at home, My Kid Brother have you covered as they show you how to make some lovely miso ramen.
AUGUST BURNS RED
ABR used their time in the stream to talk about their tours which have been pushed back and the effect that it’s had on them and their crew at a time when they should be celebrating the release of their new record ‘Guardians’.
AS IT IS
When it comes to remoulding their material, there are few bands that are as creative as As It Is. Here they are putting new spins on ‘Soap’ and ‘The Handwritten Letter’, and if you haven’t already go and listen to the full reworking of ‘The Great Depression’. It is brilliant.
SET IT OFF
As well as checking in and talking about their cancelled tours in Asia and Europe, Set It Off delivered a stripped back version of their huge song ‘Killer In The Mirror’. It’s a proper sultry number on just acoustic guitar, isn’t it?
NOT A TOY
Well, well, well. We have a new signing. Ladies and gentleman, this is Not A Toy. The announcement came along with the premiere of the video for their new single ‘j.cash’.
PIERCE THE VEIL
After announcing his new role as the CEO / co-Chairman of the Living The Dream Foundation last year, Vic Fuentes uses his time to give an update on what the foundation is doing during these unprecedented times.
GRAYSCALE
Alongside a Q&A, Grayscale delivered a somber acoustic versions of ‘Just Right’ of ‘Twilight (My Heaven)’, which feel a whole lot more heartbreaking with everything stripped away.
EAT YOUR HEART OUT
All the way from Newcastle, Australia, Eat Your Heart Out’s Caitlyn Henry shows us round her home, introduces us to some of her plants and shows us where she is making new music
VOLUMES
Alongside a little check in with what the band have been up to, we get a sneak peak at a new Volumes song called ‘Pixalate’. It’s a bit of a bruiser.
VARIALS
The Varials lads appear to have been working on new music whilst in isolation and they have also given us a look at their new vocalist Gavin!
THE ALMOST
Just a quick stop off with Aaron Gillespie here, as he treats us to a beautifully vulnerable rendition of his song ‘Chokehold’.
I DON’T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME
After having it sitting around “collecting dust”, Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman shared a slowed down version of their already classic song ‘Modern Day Cain’ before Dallon took part in a Q&A.
MOVEMENTS/I PREVAIL
We bet you never thought you would see members of I Prevail and Movements battering each other on Rocket League. Yet here we are and truly anything is possible.
PLAIN WHITE T’S
And now we have three songs from the Plain White T’s. As well as global phenomenon ‘Hey There Delilah’ we also get ‘Your Body’ and ‘Rhythm Of Love’.
CHUNK! NO CAPTAIN CHUNK!
It’s a special announcement from Bert Poucet! He addresses rumours that the band have broken (They haven’t!) and then confirms that the band are working on their first new music in four years! And it’s probably going to come out this year! Get excited!
THE WORD ALIVE
Alongside Emo Nite’s Babs Szaro, Telle Smith makes an appearance to share one of his craziest stories from his time in the band.
ICE NINE KILLS
INK went all in here. First there’s a Q&A with Ari Lester, the first man to play Jason Voorhees in the Friday The 13th movie, then there’s a special Public Service Announcement and then, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Friday The 13th, the band deliver a reworked cover of Fountains Of Wayne’s ‘Stacey’s Mom’ called ‘Jason’s Mom’. It needs to be heard to be believed.
STARSET
Another premiere, and this one is courtesy of Starset. This lyric video for their new single ‘Trails’ is made up of art drawn by the band’s fans and is a fitting tribute to a brilliantly devoted fan base. Seriously, all these drawings are incredible.
ALL THAT REMAINS
Another little check in here, this time with Phil Labonte, who reveals that All That Remains are working on a new record that’s coming out next year. They’ve got five demos put together already and are hoping to record in the fall by the way.
WAGE WAR
There’s something seriously stirring about Wage War’s music when it is stripped back to the bare bones. That’s on display in abundance here as guitarist Cody Quistad performs ‘Hurt’ and ‘When Will We Ever Learn’ acoustically.
CAPSTAN
Time to catch up with Capstan, and it appears as though they have been recording every day that they’ve been stuck inside. So expect some new tunes coming very soon!
THE PLOT IN YOU
We’ve got some new The Plot In You music! The band used their slot to deliver their first new song since the release of 2018’s ‘Dispose’, and the result is a heartbreaking number in the form of ‘Repay’. We can’t wait to hear what this sounds like in a full band setting.
OCEANS ATE ALASKA
Wondering where Oceans Ate Alaska are up to with their third full-length? Well. let’s just say that it is well on it’s way.
UNDERØATH
And here we have all of Underøath talking about their favourite stories from a career on the road.
THE PRETTY RECKLESS
And closing the stream was Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless, another of Fearless’ new signings, with a cover of Nick Lowe’s ‘Peace, Love and Understanding’. A fitting end to an incredible celebration of music.
