The Grand County Sheriff’s Office and Kremmling Police Department engaged in a pursuit of a suspect that ultimately ended anticlimatically.
A red Ford pick-up truck was headed eastbound on Highway 40 out of Kremmling when Kremmling officers attempted to stop the truck for speeding. The driver, an 80-year-old man, did not initially stop for police.
Eventually, the driver stopped near mile marker 190 and Kremmling Chief Jaime Lucas issued a summons to the driver.
Officers had set up a partial road block with stop sticks on Highway 40 near Parshall, but the driver stopped before it was utilized.
