Ballots for the 2020 Presidential Primary Election have been mailed out to all active registered voters in Grand County, according to a Friday news release.

Republicans voters will receive a ballot with six candidates, and Democratic voters will receive a ballot with 17 candidates. Unaffiliated voters will receive both a Republican ballot and a Democratic ballot, though unaffiliated voters are only allowed to vote on one of the ballots.

Grand County Clerk and Recorder Sara Rosene is also reminding voters that ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. March 3. The county controlled 24-hour drop boxes are open, and people can go to http://www.GrandVotes.org to find a drop box location near them.

As of Feb. 13, two of the Democratic candidates have withdrawn in Colorado — John K. Delaney and Michael Bennett. Any votes cast for them will not be reported.

Updates to certified candidates can be found on the sample ballots at http://www.GrandVotes.org.
