Grand Lake has announced a second set of finalists for town manager.
In a Friday news release, the town named John Crone, Eric Osterberg and Valerie Remington as the three additional finalists for the position, which opened up at the end of June when town manager Jim White retired. The announcement follows the town board of trustees interviewing three other finalists last month.
Crone, from Dillon, has a background in municipal law and governance, according to the release. He is the housing manager for Winter Park.
The release said Osterberg, from Loveland, has worked in customer service for 10 years and is an emerging leader in local government. He is the management analyst for Lone Tree.
Remington, from Monument, has experience in executive level management in local government. She is the Palmer Lake town manager.
Interviews with the candidates will continue this month.
Remington will be introduced at the town work session Oct. 8 while Crone and Osterberg will be introduced at the Oct. 14 work session. The candidates will take a tour of Grand Lake on Oct. 15 and be interviewed by team panels.
The board of trustees will have a special meeting and executive session with the team panels that evening.
